What are the Akashic Records?

The Akashic Records are an etheric storage place for the records of every piece of soul that ever separated from Source energy at some point. By etheric I mean it is a non-physical place that resides in another dimension. There are multiple dimensions layered up on each other, each having a different density than the others, or different frequency, allowing them to stack on top of each other. We don’t have to go very far to access these other worlds!

I like to think of the Akashic Records as a great big library, the biggest library you’ve every seen. I see all the shelves filled with books, and each book represents a single piece of a soul. So there is one book for my soul, one book for your soul, one book for your mom, one book for your beloved pet cat, one book for your houseplant, etc. You can understand that its quite a large library then!

These books contain everything about the individuals soul. If you were to open up my book you would be able to see all of my past lives, all of my future lives, all of my experiences, my destiny, my karmas, my memories, my lies, my truths. Absolutely everything about me is recorded and contained within that book, just like it is in yours.

It is said in occult lore that the Library is guarded by large Beings that will deny entrance if the intention is not pure enough to enter the library. There are also Beings inside the library that are very large that can help you find the information you are looking for. It is not wise to enter the library to try to find information to use against another person – that is not why the library is here, nor what its purpose is in being available to individuals.

The library supports the highest growth of the person who is accessing it themselves, or by another with their permission, by providing insights on their challenges, allowing the fast resolve of certain karmas, of providing clear guidance on life path and relationships. It will help you empower yourself and learn about how your past has created your present and how your present will create your future.

I believe that when you go see a psychic you are giving them permission to access your records and they gift you information from there. If they are a good psychic they will give you information that is true no matter what happens because they’ve accessed your destiny and are able to cut through all the rest of the probabilities. A good psychic will practice being a clear channel so that they do not change the information they are receiving based on their limited framework. To be a clear channel means that they receive the information and gift it to you as unchanged as humanly possible.

I also believe that everyone can access the Akashic Records. Some do it more naturally than others, but everyone can have access to at least their own records, and often loved ones. There are many trainings available to take to formally access the Records as well. I’ve not taken any so I cannot recommend any to you.

I have read this book and it was very good. It was recommended to me by one of my Mentors who specializes in the Akashic Record Readings.

When You Need to Forget the Future

Being intuitive comes with its own unique set of challenges. For example, in a world of probabilities, I often have to forget the future. It sounds silly doesn’t it?

While most of us are planning the for the future and figuring out what we would like to do here I am learning to forget it. Not all of it. Just an aspect of it.

There seems to be a fine balance of planning the future, expecting what’s to come, and releasing it to let what happens happens. It seems to be that balance I’ve been learning about this past year.

When I first moved back to Vancouver I was delightfully surprised to hear from a mentor of mine in a quick reading that I will be meeting my Life Partner in Crime during my time in Vancouver. As I tuned into it I felt in Spring it would be likely to occur this meeting. Then I checked in with a psychic friend of mine, and he confirmed Spring.

Well, its turned into Spring and almost all I can think about is the meeting of this partner. I’m excited! As “spiritual” as I am, I am also human. And I share the desire to connect as much as the next person. So it’s Spring and every day I wake up wondering if today is the day!

I’m making sure I don’t change the probability line too much, ensuring that I am choosing the correct probabilities to make this come true, and all the while hearing my Guides whisper: “Just forget about it. Let it go. Let it go.”

A friend says, “You can’t control it.”

The same psychic friend I’ve started to check in with monthly says, “You choosing to travel this summer might have screwed up the timelines. I wouldn’t be surprised if you didn’t meet him now until after your travels.”

I know! I know! I have to forget the future!

If I can forget the future than the future has the freedom to become truth.

Do you know how hard that is? The human brain holds onto the certainty of the future pretending it has figured it out, pretending nothing can shake it, pretending clarity, pretending it knows the truth. In reality, it knows as little as I know, which is very little, especially about my own future.

And so with a big, deep breath, I release the future. I forget that I have a possible meeting with my Life Partner in Crime. When I think about it I will redirect my thoughts. I will not feed it. I will simply let it go into the depths of the forgotten.

This is part of the reason why I feel I don’t receive messages containing my future for the small things – just the big things. Grand visions to come or deep knowings that come true once I’ve released them to the ethers. The visions always come true when I’ve released them.

Oh sigh. The practice of non-attachment as taught by my Soul.

The Difference Between an Oracle and a Card Reader

I’ve been working in this field for a few years now establishing myself and what I do. My main clientèle has been friends or friends of friends that are walking a similar path with similar goals: they desire to know about their soul, they are interested in their evolutionary and ascension processes, they want to learn about themselves and the world around them.

Last year I decided to take my business to a new level in a couple of different ways.

First I decided to get a job as an online psychic. I thought it would be great because it would allow me to establish an online and location independent source of income which furthers my life goals and gives me practice doing what I love. I had an image of giving powerful card readings to people who wanted to receive the information.

Second I went around to local businesses and gave them proposals to see if I could offer readings in partnership with one of the businesses. I figured that this would establish a local clientèle faster and would get my name out there as a reader.

There was one thing I was not expecting to learn: the difference between a card reader and an oracle.

I received what I wanted, both an online job as a psychic and work in a local cafe.

Neither were what I was expecting. The local cafe was a low paying gig with a possibility that if I were there long enough I would gradually gain clientelle. It was a positive experience overall, I just know that now I would not lower my prices again by as much as I did even to gain clientelle. I wasn’t receiving my favorite clients, the ones that let me go deep into my own soul for answers.

The online psychic job really was what made me understand who my clientelle really is. Online I was being asked what I consider fluff questions: When is the girl I like going to text me? My husband is coming over; we are separated, do you think it will go well? Tell me the name of my next lover. And so on. These are just a few examples of questions that were asked.

I hated it. I wanted to go deeper. I wanted to go into the soul of things. These clients would pay the shortest amount of time they could to get the answer they wanted and then off they would go. I wasn’t allowed to go into depth with these clients which gave my interactions a surface level of feeling.

I’m not saying that to worry about love in your life is a bad or negative. I’m saying that when it is your obsession it is not healthy, and when I tuned into these clients it is an obsession with love because there is nothing else to focus the mind on. There are more important things to worry about than about your love life. What about the life of your soul?

And then one day I realized that was the difference between a reader and and oracle.

A reader is good at giving you the more superficial stuff. They are happy to tell you who your next lover is going to be, where you will next, and all of that jazz. In fact, that is more of the focus of the reading because that’s what most people want to know. Readers can go deep into your personality and into what is going on in the past and future. In my experience they often do.

All of this is extremely useful. It helps a lot of people and is not a bad thing. It is just different from what I do.

Oracles may touch on all of those things but they are far from the focus of the reading. A reading with an oracles is something that goes deep, goes all the way to the depths of the soul, takes you on a journey. It is honest.

And the honest truth is that sometimes we can’t tell you what the future is going to be because of all the probabilities. Sometimes we are going to tell you tough things you don’t want to to hear. An oracle focuses on where you are in this present moment and what will serve you best to know.

Oracles will help you listen to what your soul is craving to tell you and what to do with that information at times. An oracle will give you guidance on what steps to take to create the life you want to live and opens up to allow Spirit to come speak through them.

I realized that is what I do.

I don’t want an online psychic job any more.

Nor do I want to work at a cafe or restaurant.

I want to find clients who make me excited to go to work and do a reading because I know I’m going to use my gifts fully.

I want to develop long-term relationships with people who are on a spiritual journey and path, people who are willing to go deep.

I want to find clients who challenge me to expand, to be a better reader and who ask me hard questions.

In a reading with me you may ask about what to do for you career. I will tell you what I see and tell you that the most important thing that you need to do is follow your heart.

And then I will tell you how. I will give you the starter steps to release what blocks the heart from speaking.

I will NOT tell you your future.

And I will tell you that your story doesn’t matter.

Because at the level of the Soul neither the future nor the past matters. All that matters is the present moment.

And “I” will tell you only what is relevant to where you are in this exact present moment.

And “I” will invite you to let your soul guide you.

And “I” will invite you to be you.

Because when “I” am in a reading “I” am only a channel for what you need to hear. “I” facilitate a way for your inner guidance that’s often lost to be heard by you.

“I” will listen to you compassionately with an open mind of non-judgement and non-attachment. We will discuss what it is you want to know and then “I” will shuffle the cards for you and create a spread to answer allowing the guidance to flow through me to be gifted you.

Each reading is unique in the sense that there is no standard way of reading the cards. The cards are chosen and then placed in the sequence and order that they will best tell their story, their words, their love story to you.

My job in a reading is to step out of the way and allow “me” to speak. “I” and “me” refer to the Source, Universe, whatever you would like to call it, your Highest Self. Your job in a reading is to listen carefully and ask questions.

The more you ask the more you receive.

My readings are not for the faint of spirit.

They are for the independent souls carving out a life for themselves according the destiny and journey of the soul.

7 Reasons to Get a Card Reading

It can seem like a flaky thing to get a card reading to some. Truly, it is not as flaky as it seems. Card readings can be sources of great clarity and insight for a person if the connection between the reader and readee is right.

Readings can look into any area of your life. They are not just limited to relationships, or the spiritual, or your health. They can look at your finances, your career, your gifts. Literally, anything can be read with a confident reader.

You can be as vague as you want “Tell me whatever the cards say!” or “ I’m not sure what I want to know.” That type of intent for the reading will allow you to receive the information or guidance that serves you most at that particular time.

When you are more specific, say, you have a topic, but there is a lot you want to know about it, or there are several paths you can choose from it is easy to create a spread that looks into each option. What will each option bring into your life? Example: ‘I can go steady with Joe or Tom or I can just move to Hawaii and see how that goes.’ Or “ I’m not sure if I want to travel or if I want to stay here and get a job for the summer.”

Then you can be specific. So specific there is no question of what you want to know. Example: ‘I want to know where my relationship with Todd is going. Will we get married and have kids?’

Here are the reasons I feel that most people come to see me in my work, and what I feel they often get out of it.

Reason 1: To receive confirmation of your intuition.

Card readings are so much more than getting your future told. They often tell you what you already know, what you may have lost sight if because your mind has become busy working out the situation.

Reason 2: To gain insight on your future and your current life path.

This can be invaluable information that can tell you where your easiest, most harmonious and joyful future is. A reading can clarify where you are going, and give you suggestions if you want to go in a different direction.

Reason 3: To gain an outside perspective from someone that has no ties to you or your life.

Sometimes we get so lost in our thoughts, feelings or both that we get focused in a really small part of what is actually going on. When you visit a card reader most often you are meeting a stranger who doesn’t know anything about you and can see the big picture and give you new perspectives.

Reason 4: To receive what you most need to hear at the time to move forward.

Calcite – Lover of the Two Hearts

Calcite is a beautiful and lovely stone that has always worked with both of the human hearts. What we mean by this is that each one of you has a soul heart and a human heart. The human heart we speak of is both your physical and emotional heart for these two are so entwined with each other it is difficult to make a change in one and not the other. The soul heart we speak of consists of all the inner knowing, the intuition, the inner feelings of a purpose and mission, the drive to fulfil that purpose. That all comes from the souls heart and it is the souls heart that sees the big picture while the human heart that can get tied down, boxed in if you will.

There are several varieties of calcite based on color including two clear varieties – one clear calcite and the other is optical calcite. Optical calcite is an interesting variety that is commonly used in magic tricks, and it is said that it creates a dual image when looking at something through the stone because it releases two rays of light. Soul Family Q&A Part 2

Can you have more than one soul family in different parts of the globe?

Yes you can. You may be “adopted” into another one at a given point if your soul and another soul is willing and able to bond deep enough to create the soul family connection. This usually takes a great deal of work in the relationship with a true commitment to each other. The soul being “adopted” will be accepted once that bond is complete with one or more soul in the ‘new’ family in a positive way that benefits all involved in the process and family. IF that will not happen the soul will not join that family and will be guided away from that family when the time is best for both parties. Just because you aren’t part of a soul family you desire at this time doesn’t mean you can’t play with them.

What are the benefits of finding your soul family?

The benefits of finding your soul family are very similar to finding your home:

A place that is completely safe for you. People in your family feel and are so safe for you that you can fully relax into yourself and your Being. It is from this sense of safety and relaxation that a growth spurt like no other can happen on all levels of learning for many members at once.
Relaxation into your Being with support from all members of your family at the soul level. All souls are in the process of learning and growth. All family members will love you, desire to protect and love you as best they can in this moment. They will support you and your choices fully as long as it is helping you become your Truth.
Soul families help heal each other on all levels naturally and effortlessly. There is no mistake here – not everything in a soul family is peace and harmony, as we’ve said before. There will be explosions. There must be in this current human existence the two poles of polarity until these words are out of date. Soul families expediate the growth of each other on all levels because they are all working towards the same thing in different ways. combining their skills together will bring up a powerful force of collective thinking and power. Connecting together they will change what they desire to change. The connection of their hearts is much stronger than their mind.
Love. A soul family has so much love and forgiveness for each member it turns unconditional naturally as the members evolve. This love sustains and feeds the members and creates a strength of connection like no other.
Physically, people will notice less stress, anxiety, and depression in their lives once connected firmly with several soul family members. Thoughts brighten automatically as the world takes on a different hue. The world becomes less of a place to be feared and more a place to be loved.

Can members of one soul family be dispersed around different parts of the globe?

Yes, very easily it can be so. It’s all decided beforehand if they desire or if it best suits their needs to travel to each other, when and where to meet, how and so on. This is not to say that all things are set. What is set is that A will meet B. If A and B don’t meet at Y there is also Z, D, W, U, R, C, L, and all other paths that will lead to A meeting B for a specific purpose. Life is fluid, all about choices, nothing is set in stone like you say for it is all always changing flow. ~The Only Constant is Change ~

What contributes to the likelihood or unlikelihood of finding ones soul family in this lifetime?

Contributes to the likelihood:

Personal work and growth. This when done sincerely on all levels will naturally open your heart and let your light shine, which is one of the easiest and effective ways for finding your soul family.
Your ‘karma’. We use karma because it is a word common to most people though it is not exactly the correct term to use. Some people are born with a path that will be ‘easier’ to find soul family. For example, some people will be born directly in their soul family and others won’t be. What determines this are a numerous list of reasons that are neither here or there at this time in this conversation. This is what we term ‘karma’ in this instance. This would be things such as what the soul incarnating desires to learn or experience, a past experience determining what the soul does, what the ‘future’ appears to be, and so on.
Choices. Your choices will affect everything. The more responsibility you take that is healthy and makes sense the easier you will find your soul family in this lifetime.

Decreased likelihood:

A closed heart. You close your heart and hide behind your masks of fear and you make it more difficult to be seen at your essence. Your essence is your light and connects you to other members.

Things that won’t affect it:

Your childhood. How you grew up. It’s all choices, learning and growth. It’s all up to you where you go, act, speak, and think, as much as it may seem otherwise at times. Simply love yourself.
Your past, as far back as it goes. You are here, in the present. See choices.

How can one tell the difference between a person who is soul family and a person carrying a major karmic debt?

Ah, that is and can be a challenge. in this case it is time to let go of the mind, attachments and all else in the relationship. It is time to be honest with your feelings and clearly state what your question is and let your heart answer. This is a time of space when this question comes up for many people.

Some more concrete signs may come by asking the following questions of yourself:

How do I feel when I’m around so and so?
When I connect to their essence how safe do I feel with them? How relaxed?
Do they feel like home to me?
Does my heart open or close around them, with their essence?
Are we working towards a similar vision?
Do we have similar hopes, dreams, desires?

Remember that soul families can be small or large with many layers and extensions in them. You may have a large family but only feel drawn to be close to a few. That’s okay. You may also feel drawn to be close to many. That’s okay. If your family is ‘small’ you may feel drawn to connect with more than one family. That’s okay.

How do I find my light?

The most easy and effective way for people to find their light is for each of the to BE themselves and allow their evolution to happen. The more in tune a person becomes the more their light will shine. It really helps when people stay open and breathe – staying in the present keeps us strong. Its a practice that gets easier all the time. Breathe and be.

What does it mean and look like to be open hearted?

To be open hearted means to live from the heart instead of fear or the ego. Love always keeps us open to possibilities and opportunities, it allows us to accept everyone for who they are, it allows us to trust ourselves and our world. Open hearted is like a flower that has blossomed or a calm ocean on a sunny day.

When a person is open hearted they live moment by moment with confidence, grace, openness and love. They know feelings are fleeting and they know no matter what they will be taken care of – they will be okay. They are able to live in a state of detached grace for everything will be as it is which is perfection always for the moment.

This is a practice of living from love, true love, love for yourself.

How do we know we’ve met our soul family?

You know you’ve met your soul family when you feel like you’ve come home again. You know them by the feeling of recognition you have when you first meet them and by their quiet grace they often impact our lives.

Soul family members range just as much as human families range. It is important to remember that. The soul family often takes on HUGE roles that change your life for the better, and can be dramatic. A member of your soul family always sticks around or comes back into your life after an explosion.

Your soul family accepts you for you, even when you’ve changed. They know your essence not just your human form.

Soul family creates a community of love around you. They will there always through thick and thin, similar to blood brothers.

Soul families help your growth and also provide a feeling of stability and often ground members through hard lessons.

You know your family when you feel you’ve found your home. Each member carries a bit of home for you which allows you, helps you, to simply be your truth.

I feel like I’ve met someone who is soul family, but they disagree. Why?

This is such a difficult question to answer because there are so many variables such as levels of awareness, knowledge, belief systems and so on. Let the relationship unfold organically and see what it brings you. Many things can happen. Life shows us a bit at a time.

Is my soul mate/ twin flame/ the one always part of the same soul family?

No, but most often yes. Some lovers are meant to bring together two soul families into one expanded one. All soul families are related to each other in some way for each family are souls enacting various aspects of the Universal Energies.

Can I change soul families?

No. Your soul was born, created, with certain other souls to create a group working and helping each other with a certain purpose. You may join and play with other families but you can’t change the family you are born into as a soul any more than your human birth family.

Do soul families live and are born in the same area geographically?

This depends on the soul that is being born and the souls raising the new human. This is usually a decision made by the soul before birth if they will travel to meet their family or if they will be born where their family is.

Its Time to Find Soul Family

The long awaited mysterious date of December 21 2012 is fast approaching us. Shifts on all levels are being felt throughout the world, as curiousity of what this day will bring us comes to the forefront of human consciousness.

There is a growing number of people who believe that there is going to be a massive shift of consciousness on that day. New energies will swirl around us bringing with them swift and subtle changes on the planet effecting everything from plants and animals to humans and all that’s in between.

My dreams and my intuition keep giving me the same message over and over again and its time for me to share it on a more public level.

For me to include all of the information and explain it clearly this blog post is going to be split in two, and both will be posted this weekend.

First I am guided to share the dream I had a couple of nights ago:

A lover of mine sent me a video, a TedTalk, saying I had to watch it. I turned it on and found myself watching people in a forest. A man and his lover who were on horseback were central to the talk. They spoke about how its essential that all souls must find their light and prepare at this time.

Suddenly they began to run.

Beings from another place appeared that were humanlike until you reached their neck. They didn’t have a head or neck, but instead long electric blue snake heads came from that area.
The camera showed one of these beings facing the woman who was no longer on horseback. She had a deer caught in headlights look and wasn’t fighting the being. She disappeared and I knew she had been killed or eaten.

I knew that her soul was too pure to fight and she had not surrounded herself with those she needed to.

The man fought them off, and then turned to the audience and said “you must find your soul family. You must find those who can and will work with you and protect you. All of you must do this at this time. It’s the only way.”

I woke up with a bolt.

This dream didn’t invoke any feelings of fear, anger, danger, happiness, joy or bliss. It invoked feelings of urgency, of a need. And when I woke up, I immediately wanted to share it with people.

The next day I had another dream that told me to share this with people, and woke up with a jolt again.

So I began channeling, asking, what is it that the world needs to know most right now in regards to their soul families, in regards to this time, what is the message that I can bring at this time that will serve the highest good of all involved?

And this is what I got:

The most important thing right now for all people on this planet are to open up their hearts. You must find your light. You must let your light shine. And you must be open to following it to where it guides you.

We need our lights now more than anything. It is our inner lights that will guide us to where we need to be that day and those lights will guide us to each other.

Each persons heart that is open sends a tall beam of light energetically into space. It also send s a ripple through the ENTIRE energy field of the Earth. This is the signal to your soul family that you are ready. Everytime you open your heart the light and ripples get stronger. The easier it gets for you to find each other.

We need to be with very specific people for that time period of December 21 until December 23.

During that time it is highly important that we are with our soul families.

Together our families are strong, and together our families can protect and provide for each other in ways that we can’t do if we are not together. Our soul families are the most important people to us at this time because it is with them that we will be able to hang on to the new consciousness and actually create a world that is better than now.

It will allow us to capatilize on all the shifts and changes.

At this time, on your planet, a huge movement is happening at the energetic level that is helping people to discover their families effortlessly. It is not something people need to worry about or be overly concerned with. As long as you intend to meet your soul family you will. At first one by one and then they will flood you IF you are not already surrounded by soul family. Many of you will already know at least a few members.

Share your light. Live openly. Dance. Come close to your soul. Breathe. Love.
